Differences

Machu Picchu

  -built on top of the sharp ridge of Andes mountain

  -the city has been built by the Incas

  -the structure of the city was built in the classical Inca style,with polished dry-stone walls

  -located in the Cusco Region of Peru,South America

-Chichen Itza
  -built in the middle of the jungle which is at the lowland of Yucatan
  -the city was built by the Mayan civilisation
  -the structure of Chichen Itza based of the astronomy and mathematic knowledges
  -located in the municipality of Tinum,in the Mexican state of Yucatan
